// Who am I?
I am Nandan Aswin. Creation was always in my nature - from building battle tanks out of old Colgate packaging in 1st grade to winning first place with a hydraulic arm made of syringes at my school science exhibition, to now crafting visual systems and 3D visualizations.
// Philosophy
A good design shouldn't need its creator to over explain it. It should speak the moment it's seen - that is the main priority when I design.
// Hobbies
I love capturing the world around me through my camera. Finding cinematic compositions formed naturally through light, shadows and objects around me whether it's on a daily stroll to the metro station or while visiting an architectural masterpiece.
Side gigs and personal projects keep this passion alive and enhance my design work giving me a deeper understanding of light, form and structure that no classroom could teach.
// Beyond
Ever since I was a child, hearing stories told by my dad of the universe made me fall in love with it. The vast expanse of the unknown around us, so many questions with no answers and so full of mystery that we are still finding small snippets of its origins.
To this day I love keeping up with the latest in space and its discoveries. This fascination also subtly carries into my creations including this website and its structure.
